Government is 'acting as a pimp by allowing ads for strippers, escort girls and lap dancers in Jobcentres'

The government was accused of 'acting as the pimp' by accepting advertisements in the Job-centers for lap dancers, strippers and other sexual trade works. Girls and women may be involved into escort prostitution by advertisements from Jobcentres, Member of Parliament have been warned.

A charity helping females to be saved from the sexual trade stated the Government, acting as the 'pimp' by means of accepting advertisements for lap dancers, strippers, escort girls, show for adult mistresses. Agency director, D. Marshall, told to the Affairs select committee: "We had contacts with two seventeen-years-old, who went to the Job centre and it brought them the vacancies. "Their mother and older sister contacted us because they were so distressed that this had happened." Computer systems exchanges does not demand applicants to show ID to confirm the age, added she. Nobody is monitoring us, and, really, you have no idea as for you who uses it. "The work included strippers, stripper with webcam, adult shows, lap dancing etc."
